Overview

Community monitoring group formed in response to the high threat of destructive fishing in the Larantuka Sea such as the use of potassium, trawling, and Bekarang.

Impact

We have grown to over 20 members, increasing fish stocks by 25%, fishermen's catches by 30%, and community participation to 80%,.

Vision & Mission

We aims to expand marine protected areas, train 300+ fishermen in sustainable practices, develop digital market access, and launch a blue finance initiative to boost fishermen's incomes by 40%.

We're looking for

Collaboration in funding fisheries programs, enhancing community capacity, advancing monitoring technology, promoting tourism, and strengthening research and conservation.
