Overview

Anambas Foundation is an Indonesian Foundation that aims to improve the overall ecosystem in the Anambas, both underwater and terrestrial, as well as sustainably lifting the community’s welfare.

Impact

From 2023 to 2024 we trained 10 Guardians of Anambas Seas, restored 1,000 m² of coral reefs, planted 1,200 mangrove trees, secured over $40,000 in funding, gained national recognition, received SCUBA equipment, and involved 100+ people in reef restoration efforts.

Vision & Mission
  • By 2025, Guardians of The Anambas Seas aims to train 10 local heroes and expand coral rehabilitation areas in the villages of Telaga and Kiabu to 400 m².

  • By 2029, the Anambas Foundation plans to target four villages and develop eco-tourism networks in conservation areas."

We're looking for

Funding and partnerships to expand the Guardians of The Anambas Seas, enhance local training, scale up coral rehabilitation, and develop a conservation-ecotourism network to protect marine ecosystems and empower fishing communities.
